About
The website is intended as a reflective learning space for participants of Fullscope’s Understanding Self-Harm workshops for professionals.
Background
In 2021 Fullscope were commissioned by Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Public Health, funded by NHS England under the wider Wave 4 Suicide Prevention funding, to understand self-harm in children and young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This work has taken place over three phases of work:
Between January 2022 - April 2023, Fullscope worked with young people with lived experience of self-harm, Boundary Pictures and Oh Studio, to co-create the film Ask Me How I Am.
Following consultation with young people, NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough ICB, GPs, school staff, the University of Cambridge, voluntary sector organisations, Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council, Fullscope have developed an accompanying workshop for the film, to support professionals to understand self-harm from a young person’s perspective.
To request a workshop or for further information contact Fullscope.
This project is funded by NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough ICB.
